MOTTO:

'THE TWIN TOUR IS FOR BOWLERS WHO LOVE TO BOWL'

This sums up the reason the Twin Tour was established.  Starting back in 1986 as the Queensland Ladies Circuit for scratch bowlers, it then progressed to becoming the Powder Puff Tour with both Handicap and Scratch divisions.  Interest was shown by the men bowlers after a few years and so the Have Ball - Will Travel Tour was created.  After a successful period, the two tours were amalgamated to enable both the men and women to compete in two totally separate tours but at the same time ..... this then became THE TWIN TOUR.

The Twin Tour provides a great meeting place at different venues during the year for both social contact and competition.  The Handicap divisions with the maximum handicap for the ‘Balls’ being 35 and for the ’Puffs’ being a maximum of 45 has attracted many who feel otherwise unable to compete in many events.  The Scratch division gives an incentive to those who are already competing in Open events.  Those who wish, may also pay $20 to compete in the Scratch Pool with all monies paid 1:3 .... this has proved a success for a couple of years now with 20 plus bowlers taking part at each Tour Stop.

Bowlers of the Year Awards encourage both Balls and Puffs to bowl at least 5 events to be eligible for major prizes each year and Bowler of the Year status. 

The Silly Season Doubles is held at Christmas time each year for a festive get-together and is open to Twin Tour bowlers only.  See results and photos for proof of this!!
